Nova Scotia Wine Festival Package*
DesBarres Manor will once again be celebrating the Nova Scotia Fall Wine Festival with our popular Nova Scotia Wine Festival Dinners in 2009. From September 7th to October 30th Chef Shaun Zwarun and Cellar Keeper Audrey Firth will be hosting special fall wine dinners with Audrey pairing a flight of Nova Scotia wines to a five course seasonal menu from Chef Shaun. Before each dinner, the nightly Taste of Nova Scotia reception in the Parlour Room will feature Nova Scotia wine with Audrey discussing how to match Nova Scotia vintages to the local seafood, meat and game. Your package includes all the Manor’s luxury amenities and a gourmet breakfast. Look for more details during the summer.

Chedabucto Bay Lobster Festival Package
Celebrate lobster season on Chedabucto Bay this May & June with the Authentic Seacoast™ Properties Bay Lobster Festival. Your two day Nova Scotia Lobster Festival Package begins with a lobster cooking class in the DesBarres Manor kitchen with special tips and recipes from Executive Chef Shaun Zwarun. Your cooking class will be followed by a three course seafood dinner in the dining room. Your second day begins with a gourmet breakfast in the dining room, followed by a trip to the local fishing wharf with the Chef to meet the lobster boat where you will select a lobster for your evening dinner. That night you will enjoy a traditional Maritime lobster dinner. Your lobster getaway ends with another gourmet breakfast and lingering memories of the Bay.
